PRODUCT SHOW
 
PETFECT rock stone wool products are made from natural rock such as basalt and dolomite. The natural rock is melted into melts in cupola at a high temperature about 1500°C. And the melts lava is then pour to high speed spinners through which the melts get into fibers. After that, fibers are collected together to form the original wool mat. The original wool mats then pass through pendulum, crimping and pressing process, get into the curing oven through which the wool mats are cured and shape up to different kinds of products such as rock stone wool board, rock stone wool blanket, rock stone wool pipe section, hydroponic cube, rock stone wool strip etc with different usage.

 

Aluminum foils (FSK, aluglass etc.), black fiberglass nonwoven/ tissue, black fiberglass fabric, steel wire mesh,

stainless steel wire mesh, fiberglass mesh etc. can be used together with rock stone wool products.

A:  (1)Rock wool can withstand temperatures up to 1000° C (1800° F), fiberglass melts is around 600° C (1100° F). (2)Rock wool density range: 40kg/m3 to 200 kg/m3, and special type is up to 560 kg/m3; Glass wool density range: 8kg/m3 to 100 kg/m3, and special type is up to 300 kg/m3; (3)Rock wool blanket size: 0.6m*5m, 1.2m*5m etc. Board size: 1.2m*0.6, 1.2m*2.4m etc. Glass wool blanket size: 1.2m*30m, 1.2m*15m etc. Board size: 1.2m*0.6m, 1.2m*2.3m etc. (4)Applications: Rock wool is widely used in civil, commercial, industrial and agricultural areas; For glass wool, it is mostly used in civil, commercial buildings; some is used in industrial area with lower temperature condition.

Q: Glass wool vs Rock mineral wool for soundproofing?
A:  For glass wool & rock mineral wool for soundproofing and acoustics, glass wool is superior because of its longer fiber length. It's widely used as fiberglass ceiling, wall panel, suspended baffle with better acoustic performance for lower frequencies. Rock wool can also be used for as rock wool ceiling, wall panel when higher fireproof performance is needed.
